Our Team

Our team is made up of men and women who help people find hope and live life through experiencing Jesus in their relationships, sexuality and identity. We have program coordinators in cities and areas across Canada, and our National Office is located in Vancouver, BC.

Toni Dolfo-Smith
Executive Director

Daniel Komori
Associate Executive Director
Calgary, AB

Daniel has a passion to see men and women experience the depth of what it means to live as image bearers of God. He desires to help men through issues of sexual addiction, particularly those in vocational ministry. Daniel graduated from Regent College (MDiv), and worked as a pastor prior to joining the Journey Canada staff in 2007.


Ricky Lee
Director of Operations
Vancouver, BC

Ricky joined the Journey Canada staff in 2006. He has a passion to help people know Jesus in every area of life, especially in areas of struggle. Ricky graduated from Regent College (MDiv) and is a pastor and worship leader at Living Hope Fellowship in Burnaby. He is married to Lisa, has two daughters, and in his “spare” time loves to play sports, eat yummy food, and go on family road trips.


Kirsten Rumary
Program Resource Coordinator
Vancouver, BC

Kirsten has developed leadership and programs across the country since joining the staff in 2001. She is passionate about supporting men and women to strengthen their relationship with God and live as He intends. Kirsten also works privately as a spiritual director.


Arabella Cheng
Ministry Development Coordinator
Vancouver, BC

Arabella joined the Journey staff in 2013. She has a passion for discipleship, spiritual care and helping others experience more of God’s Kingdom and who they are as God’s beloved children. Arabella has a MA in Leadership & Ministry from Ambrose University. She loves sharing life with others in real ways, hiking, soccer, burgers, knitting and writing about the journey towards Shalom.


Scott Neufeld
Resource Facilitator
Vancouver, BC

Scott is passionate about creating safe places for Christians to engage honestly with their struggles, and to discover the love of Jesus in their “here and now.” He left the financial industry to intern with Journey and has been on staff since 2015. When Scott isn’t coordinating Journey programs and seminars in the Fraser Valley, he is probably cooking, eating, swimming or spending time with friends.


Min-Soo Kang
Youth & Young Adult Coordinator
Vancouver, BC

Min-Soo joined the Journey Canada staff in September of 2016. Before moving to Vancouver, Min-Soo received his MDiv at Tyndale Seminary, directed a young adults ministry and served as a youth pastor in Toronto. He has a desire to walk alongside young people as they seek to live out Biblical truths with passion and integrity. In his spare time, Min-Soo enjoys exploring cities through their coffee and food offerings.


LOCAL MINISTRY PROGRAM COORDINATORS

Kathryn Alarie
Quebec

Kathryn joined the Journey staff in 2013. She has a heart to see men and women walk in greater freedom, truly knowing the love of the Father and their identity in Christ. Kathryn has a degree in Family Studies (B.H.Ec) from the University of Manitoba and works as a pastoral counsellor. She enjoys good coffee, colorful jewelry, and movement and dance in worship. Kathryn is married to Yves and they have three grown children.

Andrew Lakin
Vancouver, BC

Andrew joined the Journey Canada staff in 2010. He has a degree in Theatre Education and uses this to communicate God’s hope for people who feel lost or stuck. He is married to his beautiful wife Joanne, has three children, and a dog that he has almost started to like.

Stephanie Robinson
Nova Scotia

Stephanie joined the Journey staff in February 2016. She is passionate about teaching the Scriptures and helping people learn to hear Jesus’ voice. Stephanie graduated from Dalhousie University (BMusEd, BEd), attended Acadia Divinity College (MDiv courses) and is a worship leader at Grace Chapel in Halifax. She and her husband, Glen, are busy parents of three boys and a girl.

Andrea Heavenor
Women’s Liaison
Vancouver, BC

Andrea’s work with Journey Canada began in 2006 and focuses on providing support and prayer for women affected by sexual abuse and sexual addiction. She has a passion for women to experience the deep love of Jesus and to see them live secure in their God given identities. Andrea has a background in nursing, is married to Dan and they have four grown children.


Journey Canada is part of the Journey Global network of ministries. We are part of the development of this work in countries around the world, including raising leaders, translation of materials, and providing resources and support.
